Spring Roller Awnings
The spring roller awning has a top roller fixed within a weather box or brackets, with a 38mm bottom tube fixed in a pocket. It can be operated up and down by simply pulling on the bottom bar.

As this awning has a spring-loaded roller, the blind is under tension so will roll up once unsecured. Saddles are attached to the bottom rail, and stops are attached to the structure on either side at the desired level for locking off. All types of fabric including, Draylon, canvas, vinyl, mesh or PVC can be used.

Manually operated by twisting the bottom rail and locking the blind into the desired position, this awning can be stopped at any of the predetermined positions of the drop. The fabric is rolled around a galvanized top tube with a spring tensioning system that can be altered to your desired requirements. Best suited for smaller openings.

All types of fabric including, Draylon, canvas, vinyl, mesh or PVC can be used.

BCS Track Awnings - Currumbin, QLD

BCS Track Awnings
BCS track awnings have a wide 90mm channel track with the gear operation system. These awnings, by using mesh or PVC, are wonderful for keeping the weather out whilst keeping your view.

Best suited for larger spans, giving stability with easy operation using a crank handle. Motorisation is another option. The track dimensions are 90mm x 38mm, with a robust bottom rail. Gear operated straight drop blind is another method of winding up large blinds without visible ropes and pulleys, and is wound up and down with a crank handle. Fabric is rolled around a top tube with a fitted gearbox then wound up using a crank handle.

The bottom rail is finished off with a sleek pocket to hide the bottom rail or a powder coated bottom rail as an alternative option. All types of fabric including, Draylon, canvas, vinyl, mesh or PVC can be used.

Gear Operated Straight Drop Awnings - Currumbin, QLD

Gear Operated Straight Drop Awnings
This design is preferable for wide awnings and the method of operation makes it suitable for the elderly, being easier to wind the blind up and down.

A gear operated blind with channel guide has been successfully used up to 6m in width with certain fabrics. This type of blind has been used to enclose carports, verandahs and patios and is locked down with stainless steel pins and then tensioned via the gearbox. Motorised channel guide blinds have been used to divide rooms, e.g. home theatres or rumpus rooms.

Stainless steel wire guides can also be added where the blind is lowered from top to bottom, being guided by stainless wires and fittings running vertically on either side of the blind. A headbox is optional.

Motorised drop blinds are operated by remote control and can have a sun and wind sensor attached so they are completely automated. When the sun is shining on the area the blinds will roll down, and if there is enough wind (sensor is adjustable) the blinds will retract up fully.

This type of awning is also suitable when the walkway space beside a house or unit is narrow, eliminating the need for projecting arms. All types of fabric including, Draylon, canvas, vinyl, mesh or PVC can be used.

Zip Track Awnings - Currumbin, QLD

Zip Track Awnings
Ziptrak® captive side spline awnings are guided blinds that are the perfect choice for enclosing patios. Standard type is spring-loaded with central locking. Motorisation with a heavy-duty bottom rail is recommended for wider openings. The fabric is restrained in aluminium side channels with welded side spline. A fully enclosed hood is an optional extra. Best suited with PVC clear or mesh fabrics.

Rope & Pulley Awnings - Currumbin, QLD

Rope & Pulley Awnings
Fabric is raised or lowered with a rope which runs through pulleys on the top rail and rolls out of the way when not in use. An attractive, easy and affordable awning that adds privacy and protection from the wind, sun and rain whilst still maintaining your view.

Side zips are another option, offering greater protection from the weather. PVC rope and pulleys have coloured borders for extra stability and can have a sloping top if required. All types of fabric including, Draylon, canvas, vinyl, mesh or PVC can be used.

PVC Awnings - Currumbin, QLD

PVC Awnings
Maximise outdoor living areas all year-round using PVC awnings. By enclosing verandahs and patios with clear or tint PVC awnings, outdoor areas can be used for entertaining in all seasons.
PVC awnings are a great protection against the cold, wind and rain and they can protect outdoor furniture as well. Suggested types are captive system, BCS track, rope and pulley or gear operated.

All our PVC awnings are fully welded with a high frequency welder, eliminating stitching deterioration and needle holes. All joins will be vertical to cater for expansion and contraction. Horizontal joins can be requested, but without warranty.

  • Easislip plus Japanese calendared PVC especially formulated for Australia’s harsh climate.
  • UV stabilised commercial zips on all rope and pulley awnings.
  • PVC awnings have, as standard, coloured borders adding style and strength to the blinds.

Privacy Screens - Currumbin, QLD

Privacy Screens
These days a lot of properties are built closely along boundary lines, therefore privacy between the two properties is very minimal. We can custom manufacture privacy screens to suit, with all different shapes, sizes and applications, depending on your needs.

These can be made out of total block out, or most commonly the 2×2 weave mesh which is 95% block out and keeps the majority of the weather out. The mesh is ideal for hot, enclosed areas with this particular fabric allowing air flow, along with the maximum block out available in any mesh products. The benefit of mesh with such a high block out factor is that the outward-looking view is maintained while the inward visibility is very minimal.

Covered Hood Awnings - Currumbin, QLD

Covered Hood Awnings
Covered hoods are available in various shapes. The frame is made from 50 x14 aluminium and is custom bent. Frames can be powder coated as an extra. Fabric is available in Draylon, canvas or vinyl, edged with colour coordinated spline, and comes with a 5-year guarantee against UV breakdown. Wavy or straight valance is available. This awning is screwed to your wall and sealed to eliminate water running down the back.

*This awning cannot be closed up as it is a fixed frame.

Folding Arm Awning - Currumbin, QLD

Folding Arm Awning
Italian folding arm awnings are designed for sun protection and to extend your outdoor living area. This awning is mounted directly onto your wall or under the eave; special brackets have been designed to accommodate this mounting. A weather box is an optional extra.

Full cassette folding arm awnings allow the fabric to be fully protected when rolled in. These awnings can be extended or retracted by either a manual crank drive or motorised. Either way, the awning can be fully extended or only partially extended.

Variable pitch arms are an optional extra which allows greater adjustment in both a vertical and horizontal pitch. Care must be taken when winding the variable pitch arms.

Motion sensors can be hidden away in the front bar of your motorised awning. Once the wind blows and the awning starts to move around, the sensor is activated and the awning will automatically close. Wind sensors can be fitted near your motorised awning and will activate when they get continuous seconds of wind at the speed specified by the sensor. The awning will then automatically close.

The preferred fabric is Draylon, but canvas, vinyl or mesh can be also used. (Please ask for advice).
